LCC flights from South Asia to Malaysia are expected to grow by 48% in 2015, adding 2,294 more flights compared to 2014. This is mainly because, since mid 2014, Lion Air Group Malaysian affiliate Malindo Air has been expanding its connections between Malaysia and South Asia destinations. However, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand are expected to see decreased numbers of LCC flights from this region.
