Registrations are now open for the 10th annual ASD research forum, to take place at the Darebin Arts Centre in Preston on Thursday 3 November 2011. This highly regarding forum is run by the Autism Victoria trading as Amaze Research Reference Group.
The group is delighted to announce that Professor Katrina Williams will be delivering the keynote address on Autism research: Where are we now and where do we need to be?
The forum provides an excellent opportunity to hear about Autism Spectrum Disorder research currently being undertaken by Victorian research teams, including that undertaken by undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  Kokoda Trekkers Reach Half Way

Heading Bottom

The 15 Kokoda Trekkers are on Day 5 of their trek and will now be half way through their adventure. The weather forecast for the next few days is around 31-32 degrees maximum and 24 degrees minimum with some cloud.
One of the biggest concerns for people doing the trail is drinking too much water: because of the high humidity (up to around 90%), it is tempting to continue to drink to try to cool yourself down, so the group has been warned to drink enough but not too much water.
We are out of contact with the group whilst they are on the trail and we hope that it is going well for them. We look forward to hearing from them when they reach their destination on Sunday.
