Hi everybody!

I hope you are all staying warm on this cold, windy, and snowy afternoon. I've pretty much stayed snuggled up under my heating blanket most of the day.

I have a couple of dates that I would like for you to put on your calendars. The first one is our New Small Group's launch date. On Sunday, February 21st, we will be kicking off a new semester for small groups. We plan to really push the new groups that have recently launched, as well as add several more for people to connect with. I cannot wait to tell you all what we have planned for this new event, and that leads me to the other two dates I would like for you to make note of. On Sunday, January 31st and Sunday, February 7th, immediately after the services, we are gathering all of our new and current small group leaders for some fellowship, vision casting, and good old fashioned one-on-one coaching (with social distancing, of course).

During these gatherings, we are going to feed you and share some fresh vision and ideas we’ve come up with for our new semester of small groups. We are also going to help answer all of the questions about how to navigate those leader pages in planning center. We will have staff available to help walk you through the process of updating or creating your attendee rosters as well as walk you through how to keep your events tab current.  I know these have been areas of frustration for many of you, so we want to offer more support here.

You do not have to attend both events, but It is very important to attend one of them. Just choose the date that best fits your schedule and  as soon as the registration links become available, I will email those to you so that you can register for the event. Also, please click here to fill out the HOST form at the bottom of our Grace Hills Groups page so that we will know you are all in for leading small groups in the new semester.

I can’t tell you all how grateful I am that you have continued to host small groups through 2020. It hasn’t been an easy year, and hosting groups have been a challenge with social distancing guidelines to follow. It has looked different for each and every one of you. Some have gone virtual. Some of you have continued to host in person with social distancing. And some of you have been been staying in touch with group member through email, text, and phone calls. Thank you! Thank you for continuing to reach out and draw people into community. Thank you for being a part of what has kept so many people connected to not only Grace Hills, but to the Body of Christ. Y’all are AMAZING!

Have a blessed week!
