It sounds good, doesn't it?
You can make a difference.
The problem is, the idea of "making a difference" is a little lofty and abstract until you bring it down to earth and realize:
- God has gifted YOU uniquely to serve other people.
- Lives actually change when you show love to others.
- You're not alone - WE can make a difference together.
When you share your faith in Jesus with someone else, or invite someone to come to church with you on Sunday, or commit a random act of kindness, you could be opening the door for someone to come to know Jesus and to personally experience his love through you!
In other words, you can make a BIG difference! An eternal difference! And all you have to do is love people.
Let's talk more about that this Sunday at church, okay?
A few other things...
ENCOUNTER IS NEXT WEDNESDAY
I have a special message in mind for our next Encounter service on March 11 at 6:30 pm. We're going to talk about how you and I, as followers of Jesus, don't just "go" to church. We actually get to BE the church.
NEW SERIES: WE > ME
On Sunday, March 15, we're kicking off a four-week series on this very topic. Jesus started the church because he knew that WE are greater than ME.
DISCOVER GH
Our next Discover GH happens on March 15. If you're new to Grace Hills or you've never been to this newcomer's class before, this is for YOU! We're serving lunch this time and it's happening during the 3rd service at 11:30.
