This is a follow-up to the email previously sent out:
On Monday, October 12th, we received a list from the Supervisor of Election's office of requested mail-in ballots that had not been returned (according to the records.) The past week, we have made it our mission to reach out to every individual to ensure they delivered their ballot in a timely manner.
Since Monday, many ballots have been accounted for in the Supervisor of Elections system that had previously been unaccounted for on the list we received, hence why you received an email from us a few hours ago. On behalf of the Alachua County Democratic Party, we apologize for any confusion!
If you have any questions about your ballot being received, please forward your questions directly to the Supervisor of Elections office at (352) 374-5252 or firstname.lastname@example.org. And as we said in our previous email, if you have not yet turned in your mail-in ballot, recommend you do so by October 19th! After this date, it is best to leave it in the drop-box in front of the Supervisor of Elections office.
Thank you for participating in democracy and we apologize again!
