Thank you so much for requesting a vote by mail ballot! Our records show that it has been mailed to you, now we need you to return the ballot. We suggest that you take the ballot to the Supervisor of Elections Office and turn it in into the drop box in the front of the building. This is located at 515 N Mainstreet, Gainesville.
DO YOU PREFER TO MAIL YOUR BALLOT INSTEAD OF DROPPING IT AT THE BALLOT BOX?
The postage is prepaid, we suggest that you mail in your ballot no later than October 19th to ensure it makes it in time. More so, please remember to sign the back of the ballot to ensure its validity when received. Otherwise, it would be more secure and beneficial to leave it in the drop box outside of the Supervisor of Elections office.
DID YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AND NOW YOU PREFER TO VOTE IN PERSON? (Early Voting):
If you would like to vote in person during Early Voting, it will be going on from October 19th through October 31st, 9am to 6pm at 6 different sites. In order to vote during Early Voting, you have to turn in your Vote by Mail Ballot to the poll clerk at your voting site. She will then cancel your Vote by Mail ballot and allow you to vote by machine. If you do not have the ballot, you can still go to the polling site and vote. Do you know where your Early Voting site is? Check HERE to find out!
DO YOU PREFER TO VOTE IN PERSON ON (Election Day):
If you would like to vote on election day, you have to surrender your vote by mail ballot to the poll clerk at your voting site.
