Hunter Show


Calling All Hunter Riders to the New Vocations Charity Hunter Show!

To benefit New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program
OHJA, KHJA and Tri-State Sanctioned

We are expecting a large turn out this year and therefore have added 1 more Hunter ring (total of 3 rings).
We have also added some fun new classes to our show bill and are offering all Thoroughbred exhibitors up to a $20 discount on stalls.

There are some exciting classes listed below that will be featured at this year's show:

The New Vocations Thoroughbred Hunter Classic
Open to Thoroughbreds only pro and non-pro exhibitors. To be shown over a hunter type course of at least 8 fences.
No in and out. Exhibitor's fence heights are determined by primary Hunter Division of horse and rider combination.
Fence height 2'3", 2'6", and 3'0". All exhibitors will be scored over a first round course.
Exhibitors without a major fault will return for a second round.
Both scores will be added to determine placing.
Ribbons will be awarded 1st-8th place.
Champion will be awarded a gorgeous mahogany tack trunk donated by McGuinn Farms, Inc.


$1500 New Vocations Hunter Stakes
Open to horse and riders that have shown in at least 2 classes of their respective fence height, 2'3", 2'6", or 3'0" on Saturday.
To be shown over a course of at least 8 fences with at least 1 change of direction. No in and out.
Top 15 riders of 1st round will come back in reverse order for 2nd round. All entries must be received prior to end of day Saturday.
Ribbons and prize money awarded 1st-10th place. Champion and Reserve awarded with special prize.


$1000 New Vocations Team Hunter Challenge
To be shown by teams consisting of 2 horse and rider combinations.
Teams will be given a choice of 2 courses consisting of a minimum of 8 jumps but not limited to 10 with at least 1 change of direction.
Teams will be judged on a combined score of each horse and rider.
Ribbons and prize money awarded 1st-8th place.
Champion and Reserve awarded with a special prize.


War Horse Class
This class is for Thoroughbreds who have either raced at least 50 times or won over $100,000 while racing.
Injuries are not judged but soundness is.


Ribbons will be awarded to 1st-6th place for all classes, unless otherwise noted in class descriptions,
with special prizes being awarded to Grand and Reserve Division Champions.

Dressage Show


Calling All Dressage Riders to the New Vocations Charity Dressage Show!

To benefit New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program
MODA Sanctioned
USDF Rules will be enforced


We are expecting an exciting dressage show this year that will also be showcasing the Thoroughbred
 breed in the dressage ring.

We are offering Thoroughbred only classes both Saturday and Sunday at all levels, including:

Thoroughbred Dressage Suitability In Hand
Introductory Test A Thoroughbreds Only
Training Level Thoroughbreds Only
First Level Thoroughbreds Only


All Thoroughbred exhibitors can also receive up to $20 discount on stalls.

There will also be a Thoroughbred Recognition Ceremony that will be held in Hunter Ring 1 during
the lunch break on Saturday.
All participants will receive a special gift from New Vocations!

Ribbons will be awarded 1st-6th place for all classes with special prizes being awarded to High Point Intro,
Training & First Level as well as High Point Junior (Junior classes only) & Thoroughbred (Thoroughbred classes only).
