It is not too late to sign up!

The Past Commodore’s Cruise will be the weekend of April 29th – May 1st at the Blakely Island Marina

We will be posting a sign up sheet at the bar later this week so we can get a head count as to how many slips will be needed.

We are working on a schedule of activities, and more information will be coming shortly.

Remember to save the dates, Friday - Sunday, April 29-May 1 (of course, if you can't make it for Friday evening, come Saturday!)  This is usually the biggest cruise of the year and there have been as many as 30 boats at it in the past!

Wilderness First Aid Afloat Class will be offered on May 14th & 15th

CYC of Bellingham would like to invite members of the boating community to participate in this first aid class designed for the northwest boater. Instructors are from the San Juan School of Wilderness EMS and are certified by the internationally recognized SOLO wilderness medicine school.

Emphasis will be on the evaluation and stabilization of a patient suffering from a medical situation that will require the assistance of medical professionals.

In the one half hour or more that it will take the Coast Guard to be on scene you may be asked to provide an in depth assessment of the situation and to assist in patient care . . . are you ready? This class will prepare you for that situation.

For more details of the class please refer to the information on the CYC website at:
