It only happens once a year! Invite your friends, neighbors, crew and associates to join you for a fabulous evening of dining and dancing at THE Club event for the Spring! (The invitations go out this week with more details.)
The evening begins with the BYC Bar opening at 5:30 and will remain open for you and your guests until after midnight.
Appetizers will be served in the Lounge at 6.
Enjoy the delicious seated dinner at 7, catered by Windows on the Bay Events
Dance the night away with Joe Young and the Starlites, who are some of the best musicians and vocalists in the Pacific Northwest!
And, take an interlude and treat yourself to the dessert bar, compliments of the Spring Dinner Dance and BYC Cook Book committees
Fair warning: Last year's dinner dance sold out in less than 10 days. So answer that invitation quickly!

ROSTER MAILING IS THIS WEEK...
The 2012 BYC Rostyer/Yearbook will be in the mail this week. Unavoidably delayed by three weweks, it is being sent by standard (bulk) mail to all BYC Members by our mailing service on Thursday or Friday.
"We've added a number of new features," says Joe Coons, the Editor. "There's a section with some reprinted story excerpts from last year's Jib Sheets
, there are lots more color pictures, and the advertisers' section is also in color."
This year, the entire
book is sent to all Members --- in the past several years, the mailing has not included an update to the Club By-Laws, which have been unchanged for some time. All Members need do is slip in the tabs and they're done!
Corrections can be made by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org

Saturday, March 24: Spring Dinner Dance

A BYC'ER STARTS A NEW COMPANY, BECOMES AN ADVERTISER...
, a loyal BYC-er and sailor, has partnered with two of his associates from another investment firm and started Spinnaker Financial Services, located at 1405 North Forest Street, 676-7155
. Join me in thanking Joe for his BYC support, and wishing him well in this new enterprise!
Joe had reserved space in our Roster a month ago and shared his enthusiasm for the venture, but couldn't announce the change until this past Saturday.
Here's hoping his long record of good service elsewhere reminds lots of his old clients to follow him to Spinnaker! --- Joe Coons

THIS WEEK'S PHOTO COTEST:
Quinn Selsor, John VanHaalen, and Meredith Ross
all correctly identified Ploenlein
, which is in Rothenburg, Germany.
adds proof that you don't need beautiful scenery to go boating, just water. Lots of people were taking advantage of a sunny spring day to zip around on this lake -- but where are they? If you think you know, send your guess to email@example.com
. Even if you don't know, send Steve a message telling him whether to continue the contest!
[Editor's Note: Thanks to Steve Ross for editing/supplying this each week. He also would welcome your good digital image of any special, exciting marine location. Contact him at his address above!]
