MORE NEW MEMBERS!
"Permission to come aboard" was granted by the Board at its December meeting to new intermediate members Heather and Matt Ouilette and Eric Nyberg. They jointly own a 26' Ericson named Madidus Dominius; Eric also sails a 33' Wauquiez named Tea & Strumpets aka Northwest Passage. Does that boat name sound familiar? It should! This group was among the crew on the Lighted Boat of the Year in this year's parade enjoying a rocking hula party on the Palm Tree Hawaiian barge complete with a gingerbread man on the deck…Look for them at the club and stop by, introduce yourselves, and invite them to join you for a drink!
Happy holidays one and all! --- Marian Welsh, Membership Secretary
SPECIAL BARTENDER OF THE WEEK AWARD
Thanks go out to Volunteer Bartender Jim Gibson who had taken it upon himself to make his Thursday night shift a more festive with a Bavarian Twist. Jim’s brought in several dozen giant Bavarian Soft Warm Pretzels from Ralf's Bavarian Bakery to share. Speaking personally, it was an excellent complement to the Elysian Immortal IPA on tap at the Bar. --- Jonathan Knowles, Bar Chair
