We're Taking THIRD THURSDAY
Up a Few Notches!
It's time for another Third Thursday gathering tomorrow, June 19, at 6:00 pm at Maplewood Park! Grab those blankets and picnic baskets and join your fellow West Bucktowners for a good old-fashioned neighborhood hangout!
Plus, this week's Third Thursday offers the added bonus of a FREE concert in the park, compliments of the Chicago Park District! Beginning at 6:30, we'll enjoy a backdrop of music from Mixed Company Band, a 10-piece band spanning a variety of genres, including blues, smooth jazz, R&B, soul, funk, reggae and salsa from the the '60s,' 70s, '80s, '90s, as well as current titles. It's music for all ages!
If you've never experienced a Third Thursday before, this is one you won't want to miss! There is simply no better way to meet some really great people, enjoy our beautiful park, bask in this beautiful weather, and come together as a community.
Hope to see everyone there!
