Spooktacular Family Fun

WBNA is hosting its annual West Bucktown Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at St. John United Church-Christ, 2442 W. Moffat.  Grab the kids and join us for games, crafts and candy galore!  We’ll also have a costume parade, with prizes awarded for the best in each age group (under 3, 4-7, and 8-10).  This is one event that promises an unBOOlievable time for all!

Adult volunteers are still needed to help supervise the games and crafts table. If you have an hour to spare and are a big kid at heart (Dads, we’re looking at you!), please email info@westbucktown.org and we’ll happily put you to work! Donations of bags of individually wrapped candy or small toys are also greatly appreciated.

Thank you for helping us make this a great party for our littlest West Bucktowners!

Parks Fundraiser November 3rd

The Maplewood & Lucy Flower Parks Advisory Council is once again hosting its annual fundraiser at Naveen's Cuisine on November 3rd. The evening kicks off at 7:00 pm and will include a mix of delicious food and wine, as well as fabulous raffle prizes donated by local businesses. And the best part is...all proceeds from this event will benefit West Bucktown parks!

Chef and West Bucktown resident Naveen Sachar will be on hand to offer cooking demonstrations of some of his signature dishes, including grilled shrimp tikkas and chicken kabobs. Also on the evening's menu: paneer costini, bruschetta, spicy chicken dip, and assorted sweets.

Tickets are $60.00 in advance, or $65 at the door (cash only). To make sure you don't miss out on the fun, click here to purchase your tickets online by October 29. For questions or to volunteer help or donations, please email westbucktownparks@yahoo.com.
