But here in West Bucktown, it's easy to let folks know when you're planning to hand out candy! Clean & Green This Saturday!

Please join us this Saturday, November 2 for our annual fall clean-up! We'll meet at Maplewood Park at 10:00 AM for coffee and donuts, then fan out to pick up trash from around the 'hood. The more the merrier -- bring the whole family!

Don't Forget to Vote!
Alderman Joe Moreno and the 1st Ward Office have launched the inaugural 1st Ward Awards, and serious bragging rights are at stake! They're asking folks to vote for the "best of the best" in the 1st Ward, including the best:
  • Restaurant
  • Bar
  • Business
  • School
  • Community Group
  • Festival
  • Neighborhood Group (THAT'S US!)
  • Neighborhood Addition
  • 1st Ward Staffer
  • Local Politician (not Joe Moreno)
Click here to cast your votes! And please encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same!
