Dear Customers and Friends,

It is February--at our farm that means it is time for our customers to think about ordering grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, chicken, eggs, and certified organic vegetables for the coming year. But first, I must say how very grateful I am for the support my customers have given me this past year and in many cases for the past number of years.

Once again, I have compiled all the advance ordering information into a single PDF document: our 2014 Order Form. Please download the form, print it, fill it out, and either mail it to me or scan it and send it to me by email. If you would like to put a check in the mail with the form, that would be great. Otherwise, we will send you an invoice by email with an option for online payment.

A note about deadlines: We can only raise a limited amount of beef, so we recommend that you get your order in soon (although there is no deadline). For vegetable subscriptions, there is an actual ordering deadline of May 15, 2014. Also, we are limiting the number of vegetables subscriptions, so it is possible that those will be sold out before the deadline. Our chicken quantities are also very limited, so we recommend ordering early to avoid missing out.

A note about cut-sheets for those who order a whole side of beef or a whole side of pork: Since you are getting a whole side, you get to decide exactly how you want the butcher to cut it up. Before your butchering date, I will need you to download our butcher's beef cut sheet or pork cut sheet, fill it out, and send it to me (via regular mail or PDF). We will hold a cut-sheet information session at the farm in the late spring. We will keep you informed through this newsletter mailing list about exactly when that information session will happen.
