What a fantastic year we have had because of YOU! You made the difference in what The Indo Project (TIP) was able to accomplish in 2022. It is with deep gratitude that we send you our good wishes for the New Year.
Thanks to your involvement, your generosity, and the embrace of the global Indo community, TIP was able to celebrate a number of successes this past year to strengthen its mission and communicate and accentuate the role of Indos in society and history including:
- Publishing over 25 articles and personal stories that memorialize the past and celebrate the present lives of Indos around the world.
- Tabling at outreach events in southern California, like Dutch Kings Day, Long Beach Holland Festival, Holland International Market, and Kumpulans in San Diego to share information and build our community.
- Providing resources to over thousands of individuals worldwide who regularly visit TIP’s website to submit stories, search for information, and seek Indo connections. This year we've had over 30,000 website visitors and younger generations are visiting TIP’s website more than ever.
- Representing Indos worldwide by laying wreaths at the August 15 Herdenkingen events at the Indo Memorial Monument, California, USA; Indisch Monument, The Hague, The Netherlands; Palace at de Dam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands; and Sawah Belanda, Arnhem, The Netherlands.

All of this is made possible by the generous support of our community--who generously donate their money, volunteer their time, and share their stories and expertise. Because of you, we are able to reach Indos around the world and continue to strengthen Indo pride across generations.
By making a gift to The Indo Project today, you will help advance key initiatives in 2023 including:
- Producing podcasts featuring interviews with people sharing their stories, conversations about Indo history and culture;
- Funding the English translation and subtitling of the Dutch documentary Eyewitness Accounts of WWII and the Aftermath in the Former Dutch East Indies by author Simone Berger and filmmaker Armando Ello;
- Hosting outreach events in California and Florida; and
- Collaborating with individuals and organizations around the world that share common interests and working to foster unity among Indo people.
