View this email in your browser

Dear Port Fairy Folk Festival Friend,

The Year of Scotland in Australia 2020 started with great fanfare with our wonderful friends at Woodford Folk Festival, and just last weekend it continued at Cygnet Folk Festival. On the cusp of many Robert Burns Suppers to be held around Australia on the 25th of January, we are delighted that we are a part of this wonderful Year of Scotland.

The Festival has had a long love affair with the great talent that has come from Scotland over the years, and this year we welcome stellar Scottish artists to the festival for the first time. The magnificent talent and diversity will be on show with Fara, The Jellyman’s Daughter. The Langan Band and The Paul McKenna Band. Joining in on the celebrations will be The Warrnambool and District Pipes and Drums Inc., Claymore, Cara and our very own Southern Ocean Sea Band have some special surprises in store.

Be prepared to fling and fly high with the magnificent sounds and energy of Scotland, and folk music from around the world at the 2020 Port Fairy Folk Festival proudly supporting BlazeAid.

Please visit https://blazeaid.com.au/ to learn more about what this extraordinary volunteer based organisation achieves in times of need for our regional and rural communities.

Warmest regards,

The Program Team. x
