With just over two weeks to go we have some handy and fun filled news for you.
On the HANDY front The Warrnambool Festival Bus schedule is finalised.
WARRNAMBOOL/PORT FAIRY BUS SERVICES
OPERATING OVER THE FESTIVAL WEEKEND
The Port Fairy Folk Festival has chartered three full sized passenger buses to transport Festival ticket holders from Warrnambool to Port Fairy (and return) over the weekend, as part of the TAC Towards Zero initiative. On each service, two buses will pick up from the Visitor Information Centre, 89 Merri Street, Flagstaff Hill, and one bus will pick up near Kentucky Fried Chicken, 602 Raglan Parade, Warrnambool. This is an express bus service, however one of the Flagstaff Hill buses may also pick up via Warrnambool KFC depending on demand. The trip is expected to take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Passengers will disembark outside St Patricks Primary School, 9 - 11 William Street, which is approximately 500m from the Festival Arena. This is also the pick up point for the return journey.
On a separate service, a smaller bus (24 seats) will pick up from Killarney Beach Caravan Park and Gum Tree Caravan Park in Port Fairy. Pick up at Gum Tree Caravan Park will occur approximately 15 minutes after departure from Killarney Beach Caravan Park and vice versa on the return journey. Please be at your stop allowing for plenty of time. The duration of the trip is expected to take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bookings for all buses are essential.
