Dear Port Fairy Folk Festival Friend,

We are forever grateful that we were able to present the 44th Port Fairy Folk Festival. The stars were shinning on us as well as on the talent that was on show this year. We are delighted to put the spotlight on the following people.

2020 Awards and Prizes

Mark Adcock… aka 'Mark from Adelaide' - Flacco & Sandman’s Folk Quiz Winner.

Gabby Steel… picking up the double whammy!! FReeZA Youth Showcase winner proudly supported by Music Workshop and Busking Competition - People’s Choice.

Eric Purdie… our much loved volunteer MC picked up The Pat Glover Story Telling Award.

Andrew Wilkins… the lucky audience member who won a magnificent Maton guitar, presented by Pat Evans at the stunning Guitarists concert.
Sometimes things fly past the keeper, and in 2019 we are embarrassed to say we lost the name of the Folk Quiz winner for that year… But to our delight they pulled us up this year, and their name will go on the perpetual trophy and they will be sent their personal award … So drum roll please... the winner of the 2019 Folk Quiz was Catherine Jaggs!
Looking to the future
Performer applications for 2021 open today, and will close at 5:00pm 22 June.
From all of us at Port Fairy Folk Festival we are wishing you all the very best and hope you and your families are safe.
Warmest regards,

The Port Fairy Folk Festival.
