Dear Port Fairy Folk Festival Friend,

Our Festival has always adored Celtic music, traditional and contemporary. The far reaching influences of the Celts is extraordinary, a celebration of migration over centuries, and their influences are far and wide. In 2020 we are delighted to announce artists from the Scotland, Ireland, Canada, France and Australia who will bring their nuanced Celtic magic to Port Fairy.

Without further ado, we welcome to Port Fairy for the first time, from Scotland the glorious Langan Band, Fara, and The Jellyman’s Daughter, from Ireland Ye Vagabonds and SON - Susan O’Neil, Còig (CAN), one of  Cape Breton's most sensational traditional groups, from France the incredible Startijenn who will blow your mind with what they do with Ullieann Pipes, and making a welcomed return is Tony McManus (CAN) one of the world's foremost leading guitarists in Celtic music…. and of course we have Australia’s much loved Claymore who will take on the Highland fling like no other.

Early bird tickets on sale now.

Warmest regards,

The Program Team. x
