What does Canadian Beef mean anyway?
Taking care.
We talk a lot about what Canadian beef really means â€” after all, our industry has a lot to be proud of and we put the best of Canada into our beef. Watch the videos and read the story here for a sampling of some of the good works happening ‘out on the range’ in terms of animal welfare. Also, feel free to check out a couple of the images and photos below, and share them with your networks on social media.  You can also visit the "Why Canadian Beef" page on our website for a deeper conversation about how we put the best of Canada into our beef.

Be a part of the Canadian Beef Story online by sharing pictures, blogs, tweets and posts about being a Canadian beef producer.  Use the #makeitCDNbeef, #farm365, #cdnbeef hashtags to join other online conversations happening across the country.  Follow Twitter accounts like @loveCDNbeef, @cdnbeef_ag, @beefadvocacy, @cdncattlemen, @beefresearch and all of the provincial beef organizations across the country too.

Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer - Abe van Melle from the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence (CBCE) volunteered his time and expertise last weekend at the Creekside Co-Op in Calgary to help raise funds for the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.  Abe held a Canadian Beef striploin raffle, and sharpened knives for folks for a $5 donation to the cause.  The day brought in over $3400 towards their goal, which included the CBCE raffle and sharpening, and other donations from businesses in the area.  To learn more about the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer campaign Abe was supporting, click here.
