Congratulations to Our S.E.A Write Award Winners!

Our heartiest congratulations to the three winners from 2016-2018: Ovidia Yu, 谢裕民 (Chia Joo Ming), Peter Augustine Goh.

Established in 1979, the S.E.A Write Awards have been presented annually to poets and writers from the 10 ASEAN countries. These winners of Singapore were selected for their outstanding literary achievements and contributions to Singapore Literature.  

Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya of Thailand will be presiding over the awards ceremony, which will be held at the Royal Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok on 25 November 2019.

Singapore Book Council (SBC) is a charity founded in 1968. Our mission is to Build Our Imagine-nation by developing creativity, imagination and original thought through writing, reading, illustration and storytelling. We organise literary arts festivals, training workshops and give out awards to recognise excellence in the field.
