The S.E.A. Write Award, established in 1979, is considered the highest honour for writers in the ASEAN region. Catch Singapore's 2016-2018 winners in a series of talks supported by The Arts House!

  • Reminisce with Singapore Literature Prize winner Peter Augustine Goh, as he shares the highs and lows of his writing career from a beginner to a S.E.A. Write Award Winner. (15 Feb; conducted in Malay)
  • Ovidia Yu's favourite device in her literary repertoire is humour. In this session, discover how she has captivated countless readers by writing great lit that entertains. (22 Feb; conducted in English)
  • How do Chinese Singaporean writers interact with their multicultural counterparts from Southeast Asia? Award-winning writer 谢裕民(Chia Joo Ming) examines Chinese literature's place in ASEAN. (28 Mar; conducted in Mandarin)

The Singapore Literature Prize (SLP) will be awarded next year, and we’re on the lookout for great works of SingLit! Send your published book in Chinese, English, Malay or Tamil to us by 31 Jan, 5pm and vie for Singapore's top literary prize!

Reverse the conventional process of designing your book cover with the illustrious Xavier Comas: Instead of creating a cover for a story, you will create your story from a cover!
