Thank you for attending AFCC 2020!

Thank you for attending the first-ever digital edition of AFCC! Celebrating the festival theme "Voyages", we welcomed more than 3,000 attendees who participated in various events at AFCC: the Digital Symposium; the launch of 15 children's booksediting masterclass; webinar on adaptation; as well as special events like the Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award (HABA) 2020 virtual ceremony. We started our digital journey in May this year, with the launch of our first online edition of BIG that featured 187 illustrations by 87 illustrators.

This is what some of our attendees had to say about AFCC 2020:

“Very informative and interesting, especially the authenticity of stories mentioned by our speakers and the criteria in developing digital books.”

– Besy Agamat, on the session Children’s Books in the Time of Crisis and Change

“Your session about picture books... were so inspiring, like today, you literally drew me in and I look forward to AFCC every year.”

- Evelyn Sue Wong, on the session Building Resilience in Children During Crisis

“The points suggested by all of the speakers were concrete, inspiring and doable."

- Reynaldo Flores Jr.'s, on the session Creative Crunch: Creating Within and Above Crisis

We are constantly looking to improve AFCC. Share your feedback with us here

The recordings of AFCC sessions will be available for viewing for two weeks for digital pass holders. For those who missed AFCC, you will still be able to watch the recordings for a fee. Stay tuned for more details on the AFCC website!
