#BuySingLit 2020: Open Call
#BuySingLit 2019 was a roaring success, all thanks to your support to celebrate Singapore stories! Over two weekends in March, more than 45,000 participants took part in close to 100 events across 62 locations - making this the biggest edition of #BuySingLit to date.

We invite you to join us as a programme partner for #BuySingLit 2020 as we return next year: 6 - 8 and 13 - 15 March 2020.

Successful applicants will receive grants for their selected proposals.

Led by award-winning translator Helen Wang (UK), this masterclass provides participants with a hands-on opportunity to translate children's books from Chinese to English. Participants will explore different ways of telling the same story by looking at language and content. An exercise in flexibility and creativity, experimentation is highly encouraged for this session!
