Fauzy Ismail and Zakaria Zainal's Khairat Kita is a compelling documentation of the badan khairat kematian, Malay/Muslim Mutual Benefit Organisations based on a centuries-old tradition of mutual aid. Save the Dates for AFCC 2023

The Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC) will be back in-person from 25-28 May 2023.

AFCC is the leading festival in Asia for children’s stories and young adult (YA) fiction, and we are looking forward to seeing you in-person for all our sessions next year! Are you on a mission to empower young readers to be agents of climate change? Maybe you are interested in translating children's books into non-English languages.

There are many topics we will be featuring, which will respond to the festival's theme, "Play"! 2023's Country of Focus will be Vietnam, and we're looking forward to showcasing the best of Vietnamese children's literature at next year's AFCC!
