Ontario Universities Taking Action Against Sexual Violence is a conference taking place at Queen’s University on August 10th and 11th, 2016. This is an opportunity for researchers, university administrators, campus service providers, student advocates, community organizations, and policymakers to exchange ideas, share experiences and best practices, and generate knowledge about sexual violence prevention on university campuses. PEOPLE ON THE MOVE
On July 1, Andrew Szeto began his new role as the University of Calgary’s director of mental health strategy, tasked with leading the implementation of a campus strategy launched in December 2015. Dr. Szeto joined the U of C as a postdoctoral fellow in 2010 and, since 2013, has been an assistant professor in the department of psychology. His work has centred on the development and evaluation of mental illness anti-stigma and awareness programs.
