Dear GCAP Supporters,

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is only one week away, and events are set to take place around the globe to build The World We Want. In Singapore, schoolchildren are raising money for low income schools in India to buy milk. There will be a women's tribunal on climate change focusing on deforestation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, that will send a message to world leaders making decisions about climate change at COP17 in Durban. In Poland, there will be a petition for the government to ratify the European Social Charter.

Please remember to register your events on www.whiteband.org and share with the world what you are doing to create The World We Want. Text of the World We Want report is available now and we will circulate the full version very soon!

In solidarity,
The GCAP Secretariat
