1. Please RSVP for Joshua Jay Lecture - Nov 11th
We have the 3rd Event of our 2022-2023 Season happening this Friday and with your club membership you get free access to this event. Please let us know if you can attend so we can plan effectively!
|
|
- As per Joshua Jay's request, this lecture will NOT be recorded, so there will NOT be a streaming link after the event. And it won't be streamed on Zoom, so if you want to learn the secrets, you have to be there in person!
- Due to talent and venue availability, we are not always able to maintain a Thursday event date or keep a regular location.

When: Friday, November 11th, 8PM (lecture start)
Admission: FREE for members / $20 for non-members
Where: North York Central Library, 5120 Yonge Street (Paid parking lot on Beecroft Road, meter parking on side streets, paid parking lots in vicinity and underground)
Joshua Jay is regarded as one of the industry's most polished and engaging lecturers, and Toronto magicians will now have a chance to see why. You'll see a mixture of Joshua's best effects and brand new things he's never published or released. You'll see a mix of magic and mentalism, of close-up and parlor, of cards and magic with other objects. And along the way, Josh will extoll what he believes are key focal points for creating magic of your own.

5. Looking for Hat & Rabbit Ephemera
Does anyone have any old club newsletters, photos or other ephemera? We are trying to document the history of the club. Looking to photograph or scan items that people might have. We recently inherited some great items from the family of past president Phil Smith (1967-68). Take a look in your magic bookshelves and drawers and let us know what you have found. We hope to make this available on our website and to have a club history event at some point in the future.
