2. Next Casual Meet-Up - Thurs Dec 1st - Theme: Books!
When: Thursday, December 1st, 7PM
Where: The Uptown Pub, 3185 Yonge St / by Lawrence Station
Join us on Thursday, December 1st for another casual social were members can get to know one another, talk magic and and jam on tricks. Bring your cards, coins, silks, ropes or whatever you use. Come with a trick, routine, move, or something interesting related to magic that you've learned over the past 3 years that you can show off to real live people! No Zoom tricks allowed!
We have decided to add a theme to this Meet-Up - Secrets in the Pages! Bring along your favourite magic book to talk about. Does it have any tricks that you think are unique? Does the book have a special meaning for you? And if you can't pick just one, bring two or three! Make sure we all have wet naps and clean fingers when handling others paper treasures!
And if you have any magician friends who aren't members who are curious about the club, invite them! Happy to have non-members sit in and learn what the club is about.

5. Looking for Hat & Rabbit Ephemera
Does anyone have any old club newsletters, photos or other ephemera? We are trying to document the history of the club. Looking to photograph or scan items that people might have. We recently inherited some great items from the family of past president Phil Smith (1967-68). Take a look in your magic bookshelves and drawers and let us know what you have found. We hope to make this available on our website and to have a club history event at some point in the future.
