Flat Earth Theatre Presents "The Farnsworth Invention"

Announcing the Cast of
The Farnsworth Invention

Flat Earth Veterans and Newcomers Take on Aaron Sorkin's
Exciting Retelling of the Invention of the Television!

Chris Larson as
Philo Farnsworth
Chris finally takes the stage after working behind the scenes on four Flat Earth shows! His sound work on The Pillowman earned him an IRNE nomination. Chris now tackles the young prodigy Philo Farnsworth, who unearthed the secret of television when all thought it impossible.
Michael Fisher as
David Sarnoff
A first-timer with Flat Earth, Michael comes off a two-year sabbatical from acting to play the genius business mogul, David Sarnoff, a self-made man who built the media empire with his own hands. Previously, Michael has performed with IDS, Happy Medium, and Bad Habit.
And forming the Ensemble, depicting dozens of roles...
Matt Arnold
Coming right off of his role as the good humored Lieut. Bowers in February's Terra Nova, Matt takes on the eager grad student Stan Willis who forms part of Farnsworth's ragtag team, among other roles.
Andy Hicks
Having designed the sound for last season's futuristic dystopia What Once We Felt, Andy now takes the stage as the bearish fundraiser Gorrell, the powerful media executive Gifford, and several others.
Noah Simes
Making his Flat Earth debut, Noah will be playing the optimistic fundraiser Everson, the no-frills lawyer Lippincott, et al. He has been popular on Boston stages with Imaginary Beasts and Bad Habit.
Katharine Daly
Katharine is making her Flat Earth debut as Pem, Philo's wife and his ardent encouragement to keep hope alive. Kate has recently been seen on stage with the PMRP and Unreliable Narrator.
Justus Perry
Justus returns to Flat Earth after a time in LA. He was just seen/heard playing the Scarlet Pimpernel with the PMRP, and now takes on the role of Harlan, the scientist next door, and a variety of other characters.
Sophie Sinclair
Sophie joins the cast as Farnsworth's sister Agnes and others. She could most recently have been seen in Our Town with the Huntington, which went on to win the 2013 Tony Award for Regional Theater.
Robin Gabrielli
This marks Robin's fifth role with Flat Earth, having just played the doomed Evans in Terra Nova. Among others, Robin plays Cliff, Pem's brother who whole-heartedly wants to help Philo's team.
Korinne T. Ritchey
Korinne last graced the Flat Earth stage in Rocket Man as the practical and frank Rita. Now she plays Lizette Sarnoff, an intelligent woman who sees the race to the television patent for what it really is.
Dale J. Young
Dale just wrapped up Greenland with Apollinaire, and rounds out the cast by propelling the roles of Crocker the science funder, Tolman the high school teacher, and Zworykin the Russian rival scientist.
