Dear Friends,

The Spring 2017 semester has arrived, and students and faculty are connecting, studying and learning in the ACU Brown Library. We are delighted to be the hub of ACU academic life, providing creative spaces, friendly and devoted experts, and critical tools and ideas that shape the ACU community for positive change in the world.

The library offers many types of learning experiences, such as individual research in the Center for Restoration Studies; small-group collaboration and creativity in the AT&T Learning Studio; large-group presentations in the Adams Center for Teaching and Learning; and the development of skills in invention, creativity and collaboration in the Maker Lab. Check out this video to learn more about us!

As we embark on a New Year, remember that you are always welcome at Brown Library.

Kind regards,

Dr. John B. Weaver
Dean of Library Services and Educational Technology

What is Friends of ACU Library?

The Friends of ACU Library (FACUL) was organized in 1966 to serve as a strong, effective support group working to enhance Brown Library. Through fundraising, the group has been able to purchase equipment and materials that would otherwise be beyond the reach of the library.

In addition to gifts originating within the membership, FACUL has served to attract monetary gifts as well as gifts of collections to the library from other sources. It also sponsors programs ranging from scholarly lectures to student-produced plays to galas celebrating music, art and literature.

The membership year begins Jan. 1 and extends through Dec. 31.
