Dear Bay Scholars Supporter,

We are very much looking forward to our 9th Annual Giving Thanks by Giving Back Luncheon on Friday, November 18th, 2022. We are honored to share that we are supporting nearly 500 Scholars in 2022-2023 through awarding $1.5 million. The luncheon is our singular fundraising event and provides an opportunity for our community of supporters to affirm their investment in our Scholars. In order to serve our students and partner with them on their 4-year journey, we need to award closer to $1.7 million in Fall 2023.

It is our steadfast mission to close the opportunity and accessibility gaps that unjustly stand in the way of so many worthy young people throughout the Bay Area. Your sponsorship will help support some incredible young people who have the potential to be tomorrow's leaders in our Bay Area community and beyond. Click the button below to get started.

In gratitude,

Lloyd Schine

1.) 100% of every dollar goes to the students

"I think all stakeholders at Bay Scholars should know that your dollar makes a tremendous impact — a 100% impact. You don’t get that everywhere else, right? Everywhere else they’re going to tell you that 75 cents of every dollar goes to the students, or goes to the non-profit. Here, you know that 100% of every dollar you give goes directly to the students. That is a real, measurable impact."
(Dean Quiambao, Board Member)

2.) 100% of Bay Scholars seniors graduate

"Unfortunately, a 100% high school graduation rate is not the norm across California. Because of the support that our Scholars receive from our wonderful partner prep schools coupled with the programmatic support that Bay Scholars provides, we are able to ensure that 100% of our seniors are graduating from great high schools and continuing on to make a positive difference in their communities."
(Beth O’Callahan, Board Member)

3.) Makes a holistic experience accessible to all

"The research is clear, in terms of the impact that a Catholic high school college prep high school experience can have for the students who experience it. The test scores are much higher, college acceptance rates are higher -- and while those academic pieces are important and to be celebrated, what I appreciate is the holistic formation that are students are able to access through a college prep, Catholic education.
(Rodney Pierre-Antoine, Board Member)
