Writing Your Artist Statement and Bio
Thursday, February 27, 2014 5:30pm
Presented by Susan Koblin Schear, ARTISIN and a2a ® /ARTIST-TO-ARTIST ®
If you have answered “yes” to these questions then this professional-development workshop is for you!
During this interactive workshop we will address key elements and provide you with information about writing/updating your artist statement and bio. We will clarify your concerns and address your questions.
- Do you need to write and/or update your artist statement and biography (bio)?
- Are you challenged by what you need vs. want to share about yourself and your work?
- Do you want to know how to update your materials based upon the viewer, targeted and/or potential audience?
- Would a “refresher” focused on your artist statement and bio benefit you?
Please bring your artist statement and bio to share and work on during the evening.
Location- The Center for Emerging Visual Artists, 237 South 18th Street, 3A
