WACDEP: a unifying force in Ghana

Youth water network born in South America

85 Latin American youngsters participated in the first South American Water Youth Meeting “Together for Water Security”, held in Lima 14-16 October. This is where the South American Youth Water Network was born –  Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela are the countries currently represented in the network. Pathways of water accounting explored

A recent session on “Development of water accounting and its policy uses in Africa” stimulated a dialogue on how water accounts at different levels - national, transboundary, regional and Pan-African - can be used for economic purposes. From drought monitoring to legislation in Slovenia

A national consultation dialogue on drought took place for a third time on 10 October in Slovenia. The event was organised by the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO) and GWP Slovenia in the framework of the Integrated Drought Management Programme in Central and Eastern Europe (IDMP CEE).
