GWP launches support to country climate plans

GWP has launched a global programme to assist countries to implement the adaptation component of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) – the climate plans submitted to the UNFCCC ahead of the Paris Agreement. The initiative was launched in Bonn in May. Read more >>

Nepal: Infrastructure upgrade & reform of irrigation

International donors have poured money into developing Nepal’s irrigation infrastructure since the late-1950s, but results remain only partly successful. The Irrigation Water Resources Management Project is one of the latest international aid efforts aimed at developing the irrigation facilities while improving Nepal’s institutional framework pertaining to water infrastructure projects. GWP Asia water partnerships sign MoU
