Constructing a wildlife friendly windmill for the RSPB
Hybrid energy parks

We have gained planning permission to build two new sun parks in Bulkworthy in Devon, and Dalby in Leicestershire, which will join with existing wind farms to create some of the first hybrid energy parks in Britain.

Hybrid renewable energy parks combine wind and sun generation in the same project, in the same place, using the same grid connection – a more efficient, rounded approach to green energy generation in Britain.

Young Green Briton Chat

We're running a Young Green Briton Chat event at WOMAD, where youngsters aged 11-16 will talk on the three areas that make up 80% of our emissions in Britain – Energy, Transport and Food – as well as on the topic of ‘making room for Nature’.

Each of the four winning pupils will be supported by a ‘Green Britain mentor’ â€“ Dale Vince, founder of Ecotricity, Robert Llewllyn, actor and electric car enthusiast, Mark Avery, environmental campaigner and author, and Nicholas Allan, vegetarian chef.
