First up, we'd like to thank you for coming along to the Opening Night of Graveyard Shift at Lamington Drive. The show runs until 27 September - if you're wondering what the heck it's all about, it's a large-scale typographic installation by Gemma O’Brien painted straight onto our walls over four consecutive nights. Second up, lots has been happening on our blog, from Huawei Script to beauty tips. Get into it and ride a white stallion into the sunset. Love always - jw.
Published by Hardie Grant, ‘Hungry for That’ covers Raph Rashid’s best-known areas of culinary expertise – fresh Mexican flavours, American style burgers, and home-made donuts. Our intrepid photographer Lauren Bamford shot the images inside and you can check them out on the blog, along with a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot in which Raph hosts a rooftop BBQ and Lauren shoots freestyle alongside food stylist Deb Kaloper. Mouth-wateringly awesome.
Sean Morris for The White Horse Hotel

The incredible Sean Morris created a handpainted mural for the good folk at The White Horse Hotel in Surry Hills, Sydney. Possibly Crown Street’s most recognisable venue due to the massive silver stallion frozen mid-buck atop its roof, it’s now got a 15m x 3m mural to complement the cool new motorcycle themed fit-out by Matt Woods. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the ‘hood.
Emma Leonard drew this pretty illustration for the Beauty section of Jetstar Magazine. Now, we don’t know about you, but we think tweezering your eyebrows on an aeroplane could prove dangerous. Run into a little minor turbulence and you ram a tweezer into your eye. Nonetheless, Emma’s illustration sure is pretty. There is a definite art to flying with style.
And that's your lot for this week. Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodbye til it be morrow,
