One of the unexpected joys of writing this newsletter is the sheer mystery of what absolute nonsense will come to the top of my brain on a given day. The hardest part about writing is really just starting, but once you do, it's pretty easy from there, as long as you don't really care too much about what you're writing, which for a newsletter is pretty straightforward as I'm pretty sure nobody actually reads this.
Today is a bit harder though, as my beloved Bose QC-30 noise cancelling headphones which I pretty much rely on to do everything, are at the tech doctor, and I feel quite lost. That said, I did get to experience the profound joy of setting up a new pair of borrowed headphones in the Bose app, which has one of the best pieces of software I've used in recent years, thanks to the 'surprise me' button when it comes to naming your headphones.
Unlike my phone, which is named 'Bobby Fisher' so that every time my car starts up the bluetooth display reads 'Searching For Bobby Fisher' - the Bose system is totally random, and spurts out such gems as:
and of course, Pope of Mope.
For this week, i'm sticking with old faithful, Sonic Tooth.
So yeah. It's the end of the page here so my work is done for now! The real work you came here to see though, that's a bit further down, so go on. Scrolly scroll.
(Also yes, I know my headphones are probably spying on me. I don't care. As long as nobody can ever see my kindle bookshelf, all other content is fair fame.)
