Non-Animated Family Movies to match everyone’s tastes is not always an easy thing. Our kids all had different favorites and interests. Spending family time together was important to us.
So we would have one of our kids (they would take turns) select a variety of movies. They would lay 5 or 6 of them on the coffee table and we would all vote for our top three.
We’d total up the votes and the one with the highest score would be that evening’s movie. This is a growing list of our family-friendly movies.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe
This easy bread recipe for banana bread is delicious. Chocolate chips can be added to make this disappear off the platter.
It’s also a great way to use up overripe bananas. We store the bananas in a zippered plastic bag in the freezer until we have enough to make this recipe. It requires 6-7 bananas.
We also use this recipe to make Banana bread at Christmas time if we’ve run out of pumpkin for our Pumpkin bread.
This video is about Chocolate Chip Zucchini bread, but it’s very similar to the banana bread recipe.
