Ping Chong will give a talk on the evolution of his interdisciplinary approach to theater in relationship to changes in contemporary arts and culture over the past 40 years.  This presentation will provide context for an open rehearsal of Angels of Swedenborg with La MaMa’s acclaimed Great Jones Repertory Company. Angels of Swedenborg will kick off La MaMa’s 50th Anniversary Season this fall and is a revival of Ping Chong’s signature dance theater work, which toured extensively in the United States and Europe.
