In Europe, Fake Jobs Can Have Real Benefits

Today's story:  Prolonged unemployment can lead to a vicious cycle -- the longer a person is out of work, the more dated his or her skills can become. And as those skills degrade, finding a job becomes increasingly more difficult, prolonging the joblessness even more. Some European communities have come up with a strange but creative potential solution: fake business for those who want to have (fake) office jobs. There's no products, no revenue, and the "employees" don't get paid, but they do end up keeping their skills sharp (and perhaps also pick up some new ones.)
