November brings a full calendar of programs and events to The Edge with offerings for entrepreneurs and startups; a new round of facility inductions for the basement dwellers; two big science events with BrisScience and The Science Nation (talking google maps and the top science stories of 2015); an exhibition of Kombucha shoes by QUT Fashion (27 Oct – 9 Nov); CAVE Workshop and Jam for the retro synth users, and a free community event at SLQ with live music, poetry, talks and creative workshops.

The next round of the Lord Mayor’s Budding Entrepreneurs Program has opened. The Lord Mayor’s Budding Entrepreneurs Program offers aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to be awarded  $5000 to help in developing their skill set, entrepreneurial capabilities and accessing professional support for their start-up idea.
Festival of Lights – Call for Visual Artists
Northey Street City Farm is hosting a benefit event on November 14, 2015 to raise funds for a village in Nepal. The Festival of Lights event will celebrate the annual Diwali festival which spans across several countries. ACPA Auditions for 2016
Develop the skills, expertise and practical experience to succeed in the Australian performing arts industry. Auditions for the 2016 cohort will be held in Brisbane on November 30 and December 1, 2015.
