A Fond Farewell to John Eberle

From the time John Eberle was promoted to Vice President, Grants & Community Initiatives in 2008, he has been a true and genuine ambassador not only for the Community Foundation but for the whole idea of building community, and for philanthropy as a force for making things better.
At our core, we believe that the Community Foundation is about engagement and civic mindedness. John has been the complete embodiment of these values, and has been a key partner for our staff, for our board members and for the people who help drive the missions of nonprofit organizations in our community.

John will soon be taking on a new role as President & CEO of the Community Foundation of the Capital Region. We are sad to see him go, but the impact he has made on the Central New York community has been invaluable.
