Dear Friend,

In 2018, the FarmSafe Foundation supported Safety Days for Children, Farm Safety Resource Development and Training, the BeGrainSafe Program and the Back to Ag Program for Injured Farmers.

With your help, we can continue this important work. Please consider donating to the FarmSafe Foundation – donations of $20 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt!

Thanks for your support and all the best in the New Year!

Safety Days for Children
On average, 12* children die every year on Canadian farms. That’s why the FarmSafe Foundation supports Safety Days, the largest rural safety and health education program for children in North America that helps children learn to be safe on the farm. For more information, visit
Back to Ag
Every year, Canadian farmers and agricultural workers experience life-altering injuries. That’s why the FarmSafe Foundation funds Back to Ag, a program that supports the cost of adaptive technology to traumatically injured farmers and workers. This program changes lives, and gets people back to farming! For more information, visit
Tristan, 26 years old, lost his right arm in an entanglement with a forage harvester.  He farms a dairy, beef, and grain with his parents. Thanks to Back to Ag, Tristan was able to purchase a side-by-side, "making a world of difference to get around the farm to do everyday activities."
BeGrainSafe is a program designed to help save lives. Through prevention education, rescue training and onsite workplace training, adults, children and firefighters learn about the hazards of flowing grain, how to stay safe, and what to do in an emergency. For more information visit
