Ever desired to sing in a choir? Or hankered to be in a TBA Festival performance? Come shake-up the end of your summer with something ambitious, different, exciting and musical:

This weekend is the final "jump in" point for any singers interested in joining our voices for Requiem Mass: LGBT / Working Title, a musical ceremony premiering September 11 and 12 at Trinity Cathedral in Portland as part of PICA's Time-Based Arts Festival. It's a fabulous choir and ensemble, including the 30-foot Rosales church organ, and I'm very proud to be directing this incredible group. If you'd like to download mp3s and musical scores to prepare and join us this weekend, just hit reply and let us know - participants in the premiering performances will be thanked with a free festival-long "Works" pass (free admittance every night to all of the late-night programming at "The Works"), as well as comps for friends to our performance and an opportunity to score free passes to other festival performances. Plus, it's just going to be flat-out rad and, I hope, awareness-raising around issues of gender and sexual diversity within communities of faith. Rehearsals have been really fun.
