Annual Meeting Update
 

SAVE THE DATE! IBE 2016 Annual Meeting
 
April 7-9, 2016   | Greenville, South Carolina

 
Join us April 7-9, 2016 at the Marriott Greenville, for technical sessions, multidisciplinary interactions and networking with your peers! The conference will include sessions on key areas of biological engineering, including Biomaterials, bioenergy, biosensors, nanosystems, ecological and environmental engineering, synthetic biology, and much more.
 
The following invited speakers will be featured at the convention:
  • Dr. Mihelcic James: Professor and State of Florida 21st Century World Class Scholar, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of South Florida
  • Dr. Martine LaBerge: Professor and Chair, Department of Bioengineering at Clemson University
  • Dr. Dan Luo: Professor, Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University
  • Dr. Michael J. Yost: Director of General Surgery Research, Associate Professor, Department of Surgery at Medical University of South Carolina
 
Registration for this event will open in Fall 2015. Register early to receive several benefits! IBE Call for Abstracts is Now Open!
Submit Your Abstract by December 4, 2015!


Join us April 7-9, 2016 at the Marriott, Greenville, South Carolina, for technical sessions, multidisciplinary interactions and networking with your peers! Plans for next year’s IBE Annual Meeting are in full swing, and we encourage all authors -- including student attendees -- to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Please submit within any of the various session topics detailed in the Call for Abstracts document provided below.

Membership News

Over the next few months, several reminders will be sent to all IBE members to renew membership for 2016.
 
Please note that starting in 2015, IBE will be offering the option of automatic membership renewals. All members will receive further details of this process with their renewal reminders in Fall 2015. For more information or to enroll in this program, please contact Courtney Devine at IBE Headquarters. 
 
One of the most exciting networking opportunities is our Annual Conference, held each spring. When you renew your membership, you will receive the discounted Member registration rate for the conference.
