Sabres 50/50 Raffle to Benefit the Summit Center

Tuesday, March 7

Help sell 50/50 raffle tickets while the Sabres take on the Flyers. A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit the Summit Center, a local non-profit that serves individuals with social, developmental, and behavioral challenges.

Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon

Help out as a volunteer for the JA Bowl-A-Thon, an event that raises over $150,000 each year to help fund programs in WNY schools. Volunteer duties include set up, registration, and handing out prizes.

Save the Date!

Our fourth annual Send Hunger Packing event is planned for Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm. We are excited to continue our partnership with the Matt Urban Hope Center (385 Paderewski Drive, Buffalo, NY) to provide bags of non-perishable food and feminine hygiene products for those in need. The Matt Urban Center is a multi-faceted agency providing various assistance programs including housing services, crime victim assistance, three food pantries, homeless outreach services, youth and family services, senior services, and more.

2016 Member of the Year Awards

This year’s Member Appreciation Happy Hour was a blast! Thank you to everyone who attended. We had so many awesome volunteers this year that we couldn’t just pick one. Congratulations to our 2016 Members of the Year, Denny Yeh and Lizy Reaves! Denny and Lizy both served on our City of Light Committee while actively participating in volunteer events such as the UNYTS Bucket List Bash and Buffalo WingFest. Denny volunteered more hours than any other volunteer in 2016, and Lizy contributed an incredible amount of work in for our annual City of Light. These two are total rock stars!
