As the sun comes out, many of us are ready for some new bike adventures. Today we bring you a couple opportunities for you and your bike to get out and about.

The Intriguing Trail - Nature Festival
Sunday 27th September 10am - 3pm

A gentle 19km cycle around our in-TREE-guing Adelaide Park Lands, celebrating trees, birds, bees and the centenary of the SA Forest League.

Along the way you will learn about trees in the Park Lands, enjoy a BYO picnic, meet 'Sir Hans Heysen' who will be doing a spot of painting, and take part in a tree planting ceremony with 'Sir Douglas Mawson'.

Optional Dress up in old-fashioned clothes. Think: lace, gloves, scarves, bow ties, suspenders, leather shoes — anything that harks back to a time before Lycra! Maybe some fabulous TWEED.......

Roving cafe bicycle will be serving delicious drinks at the picnic. See their sensational tricycle below.

Tickets are just $5 each. For more information and to secure your ticket visit www.eventbrite.com.au/o/nature-festival-30886269983

Westside BUG are planting Day Terrace (along the Outer Harbor Greenway) between Croydon Avenue and Brown Street on Sunday 27th of September from 10am to 1pm or until they run out of plants!

All riders are invited to come along and help make this popular cycling route look even better. Maybe stop in to help on your way to the Port?

The road will be closed and people are encouraged to ride to the event and make use of the car free space.

The planting has been made possible through the DPTI Residents Win grant program secured by The City of Charles Sturt in partnership with the Westside BUG. Event details at:
