UM Gerontology Club Invites Pre-Med Students to Careers in Aging Week Mentor Night
Careers in Aging Week Mentor Night
Pre-Medical Sciences students are invited to participate in the speed mentoring event at the upcoming 32nd Annual Conference of the Montana Gerontology Society. The mentoring event will be hosted in partnership with the Gerontological Society of America and the UM Gerontology Society (UMGS). UMGS is an ASUM recognized student group at the University of Montana that focuses on the study of aging, known as gerontology. Please see the linked PDF flyer

The UM Gerontology Society was recently awarded a $400 grant from the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) to host a Careers in Aging Week event with a speed mentoring format. They are happy to invite future health professionals participate and begin to make connections with faculty and organizations in the community, as well as to explore career opportunities in the field of aging.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 from 5:15-6:15 p.m. in Salon D of the Hilton Garden Inn. (3720 N Reserve St, Missoula, Mt 59808). Refreshments will be provided.
