FAMILY DAY AT THE NIAGARA FALLS HISTORY MUSEUM

Family Day 2019 at the Niagara Falls History Museum was another successful day of family-friendly public programming. Over 860 children, parents, grandparents and community members visited the Museum on February 19th to take advantage of the Kids Celebrate! exhibition, crafts, music, scavenger hunts, and the highlight of the day, the Earth Rangers’ Animal Ambassadors show. Visitors got up close and personal with a small falcon, a South American porcupine, a boa constrictor, and a large Harris hawk. The Niagara Parks Commission, through their museum at the Mackenzie Printery, brought a printing press and let visitors stamp their own bookmark! Musicians Nicole Cerminara and Aaron Berger filled the building with acoustic jams all day long.

If you missed out on the Family Day fun, be sure to come back to the Museum for March Break. From March 12 to 15, you and your family can take in a show by Reptile Kingdom, create some beautiful crafts, handle real museum artefacts, and finish your day off with the newest Disney film, Ralph Wrecks the Internet.

There are a number of free event listings available for you to
promote your upcoming events.
